OUR BEGINNERS TRAINING PROGRAMME FOCUSES ON LEARNING & UNDERSTANDING VECTORWORKS FROM THE GROUND UP
Training Outline
Our Vectorworks Trainers have years of industry experience. As part of the course the training is tailored towards your individual requirements and skill levels.
Our Beginners Vectorworks Training Course will start with getting Vectorworks set up properly and tailored for your requirements and workflows. We will cover all of the basics drawings tools, and organisation so you can learn to set up your projects the right way first time.
Course Content
• Introduction to the working environment
After an introductory orientation, we get Vectorworks optimised for the way you work. We will learn how to benefit from an enhanced workspace with shortcuts and contextual menus.
• Setting up preferences
After setting up your preferences and workspace, we will arrange your screen how you like it and show you how to save it for maximum productivity.
• Setting up drawings & Templates
We will create some standard practice templates & learn about how to organise your drawings using Layers, Classes, Sheets and Viewports with title blocks.
• 2D drawing & Editing tools
Cover all the basic drafting tools, and get you up and running quickly with using keyboard shortcuts and a multitude of hints and tips that even some advanced users don’t know.
• Attributes & Constraints
We cover all aspects of 2D presentation from creating custom colour palettes to hatches, gradients and image fills, drop shadows and how to make your drawings stand out.
• Importing & Exporting files
We cover importing all the main type of files you will need to work with from DWG, PDF, Images, SketchUP. We also show you how to export your Vectorworks files once completed.
REALISE YOUR POTENTIAL
